Opera on Android with free VPN now officially
Opera finally introduces one of the most interesting features to mobile devices, which already exists in the desktop version of this browser. It is, of course, a built-in free VPN (Virtual Private Network) program. This option was previously tested in the beta version of the Opera application, and now appeared in a stable, public browser for mobile devices.
VPN in Opera will have 256-bit encryption of network traffic, and the company adds that it does not want anyone to be able to view what we do on the web. So this is another addition in terms of privacy after the already built extension that blocks ads that track us. The new version of the Opera will be useful for all users who value privacy on the web.
If you look at the beta version, the stable version of the new VPN Opera will support servers in Europe, North America and Asia. The Opera 51 version should appear soon in the Play Store. It is worth adding that the company said that it does not intend to collect data of users who will use such a VPN – no information that passes through servers is not saved.
The VPN service allows you to create a private connection to a remote server and through this web browsing. Instead of using a public network where our data could be intercepted, all these packet exchanges are carried out on an external server.
